Andrea Wright Appointed to ICPAS Board of Directors

Johnson Lambert is delighted to announce that Partner Andrea Wright has been appointed to the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) board of directors for a three year term. As the state’s preeminent CPA organization, ICPAS is committed to improving and advocating for the CPA profession.

Andrea has been with Johnson Lambert since 2002, and she possesses both an MBA from Morgan State University and a BBA in Accounting from Howard University. She co-leads the firm’s nonprofit practice and is the designated partner in charge of firmwide quality for the government audit practice. Throughout her tenure at Johnson Lambert, Andrea has worked with some of the most recognizable nonprofit entities in the United States.

Outside of her role at Johnson Lambert, Andrea has served on committees for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), Illinois CPA Society, Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, and Association Forum. She actively engages with local nonprofits, sitting on the boards for the African American Legacy Fund of the Chicago Community Trust, Oikos Institute for Social Justice, and Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. Andrea’s addition to the ICPAS board of directors reflects her extensive leadership experience and longstanding commitment to the accounting profession, and we are excited to witness the valuable contributions she will continue to make to the CPA profession in her new role.
