Commitment + Passion for

Nonprofit Organizations

Our nonprofit team brings experience and technical acumen, and even more important, our nonprofit team has a genuine passion and commitment to the community of associations, foundations, and other nonprofits we serve.

You will find members of our nonprofit team at ASAE, Association Forum, and FAR events as well as at nonprofit conferences conducted by the AICPA, GWSCPA, IL CPA Society, and NCACPA. Our nonprofit team members serve on various boards, committees, groups, and task forces for these and other nonprofit industry organizations.

We’re very involved, and we want to be. We care deeply about having a seat at the table of the most influential and important industry groups because we’ve invested in the nonprofit community, its opportunities, its challenges, and its triumphs.

It is imperative to us that we share our knowledge gained through our industry involvement and through serving hundreds of nonprofit clients with both our clients and our employees who are nonprofit focused. As such, our external webinar series and our internal education program enable us to exceed our clients’ expectations with both efficient engagements and exceptional client service.

Our firm is also committed to many of the same ideals and values that the nonprofit community values: a strong culture for our employees and our clients as well as an investment in our communities and in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

We add value to our clients through efficient engagements, knowledge sharing, best practice advising, and tailored synergistic and communicative approaches.

Audit Services

We believe an audit is about more than ensuring compliance with board requirements. An audit is an opportunity to improve processes and optimize your financial operations. Johnson Lambert believes in partnering with you to help move your organization forward and to achieve your mission.

For these reasons, we work with each individual client to customize our approach based on the unique operations and risk profile of the organization. We take a solution-focused approach in completing our audit both thoroughly and efficiently. We value the ongoing partnership with management and board, which is why we share best practices for continual improvements.

Nonprofits have unique challenges, and we are passionate about solving them with you. We will ensure that you have the best information available to make critical financial decisions for your organization, and we will navigate new standards and reporting guideline changes with you.
