Johnson Lambert Announced New Partners in 2026
Johnson Lambert is excited to share that Elyssa Nagle and Steven Strickland have joined the firm’s partnership in 2026.

Elyssa Nagle joined Johnson Lambert as an associate in 2013, and since then, she has steadily become a trusted advisor in the captive and alternative risk industries, lending her expertise to entities of every size and complexity level. With a passion for teaching and mentorship, Elyssa trains the next generation of captive-focused professionals, and she supervises sophisticated engagements for captives and related entities.
In addition to overseeing client engagements and employee training efforts, Elyssa provides strategic leadership in our Vermont office. As a member of multiple industry groups — including the AICPA, the Vermont Captive Insurance Association, and the Vermont Captive Insurance Emerging Leaders — she is committed to professional excellence. She received her bachelor’s degree from Bryant University.

Steven Strickland started his Johnson Lambert journey in 2013 at the beginning of his career. He quickly elevated his contributions and established himself as an indispensable resource for the firm and our employees. Steven supervises insurance audits and leads complex engagements, leveraging his extensive experience in the field to deliver top-tier, white glove service to our clients. Steven also contributes immensely to Johnson Lambert’s business development efforts, helping drive growth for the firm.
Beyond his contributions to our firm, Steven is actively engaged in the broader insurance industry. He is a frequent participant at industry events, and he holds memberships in organizations such as the AICPA, the North Carolina Association of CPAs, and the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association. He was named a 2024 Emerging Leader by the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA), and he received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from North Carolina State University.
The partners and firm congratulate these leaders on their significant professional accomplishments. Their contributions have been a powerful and positive influence on the growth and success of Johnson Lambert.
