Cultivating a Culture of Employee Appreciation

At Johnson Lambert, we understand that our people are the backbone of our organization. As such, we have designed employee appreciation initiatives and programs to ensure that employees feel both valued for their work and truly seen as individuals. From virtual communities to fun activities, Johnson Lambert provides opportunities for employees to connect with colleagues from across the firm, participate in a variety of fun activities and events, and showcase their authentic selves. Keep reading for a glimpse of some of the ways we celebrate the many faces of Johnson Lambert.

Milestone Celebrations: Acknowledging Accomplishments + Life Events

Whether it’s a work anniversary, promotion, new designation, exciting life event, or personal accomplishment, recognizing milestones is an important piece of building a sense of belonging at Johnson Lambert. Through office celebrations and firmwide shout outs, we value sharing in the big — and little — moments of our team members’ lives.

Spirit Week: Celebrating Hard Work + Dedication

In addition to year-round acknowledgements, Johnson Lambert hosts an annual Spirit Week program. This five-day event is dedicated to celebrating the hard work and commitment of our JL employees. During the week, staff take part in firmwide game nights and activities, wellness initiaitves, raffles, and other people-focused events. It offers our team the opportunity to connect and build relationships with Johnson Lambert colleagues across practices, levels, and geographic locations, and of course, to have some fun.

Impact Awards: Rewarding Excellence

In 2022, Johnson Lambert launched its inaugural awards program, the Impact Awards. This annual program recognizes and celebrates three exceptional employees that go above-and-beyond in exemplifying our core values of agility, respect, and trust. In addition to being formally recognized by the partnership for their achievements, the winners receive substantial awards. Cultivating a culture of appreciation and recognition helps Johnson Lambert to increase the overall employee experience for each and every one of our team members.

Wellness Initiatives: Prioritizing Balance

Employee appreciation comes in many forms, and one main component of showcasing our gratitude for and support of staff is to prioritize their wellbeing. In addition to providing ample paid time off and paid holidays, the firm also has enacted an extended holiday weekend during the Fourth of July. Throughout busy season, employees are encouraged to plan out busy season breaks to avoid burnout and de-stress. The firm also has a formalized program, which allows employees to participate in their preferred wellness activities, including food delivery services, gym memberships, and more.

These are only a few of the many ways Johnson Lambert expresses its appreciation to our talented staff. Our people are what make the firm not only a great place to work, but also a long-standing leader in the industries we serve.
