Partner, Lauren Darr, has been appointed to the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) Insurance Expert Panel, effective May 26, 2021. The AICPA Expert Panel “serves the needs of AICPA members on financial and business reporting and audit and attest matters” through their work to “protect the public interest by bringing together knowledgeable parties in the insurance industry to deliberate and come to agreement on key insurance issues.”

Johnson Lambert has proudly had many of our firm’s leaders sit on this esteemed panel, and we’re thrilled to see Lauren Darr become the next one to do so. Lauren is an alumna of the AICPA Leadership Academy, a member of Johnson Lambert’s Technical Committee, and she currently serves on the AICPA Joint Trial Board and the AICPA/NAIC Task Force. She has recently volunteered with such organizations as the North Carolina Association of CPAs and the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association (IASA).
