Elyssa Nagle Named 2025 Captive International FORTY Under 40

Since joining Johnson Lambert as an associate in 2013, Elyssa has quickly advanced as a leader in both the firm and the broader captive industry. With a passion for teaching and mentorship, Elyssa provides training and leadership for the next generation of captive-focused professionals. From clients to peers to the junior employees she supervises, Elyssa’s enthusiasm for teaching and her focused expertise in the captive space has made her an indispensable resource for the industry.
Elyssa serves as an instructor for the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE), where she teaches courses as part of the Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI) designation program. She is also deeply involved in the strategic initiatives of the Vermont Captive Insurance Emerging Leaders (VCIEL) and speaks at prominent captive and alternative risk industry conferences, such as the Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) Annual Conference and the Association of Governmental Risk Pools (AGRiP) Governance Conference.
